A quick reminder for today’s warm weather

While out on my patch today, I noticed a car left unattended with the window fully open. We all understand how hot it’s been, and it’s completely natural to try and keep vehicles as cool as possible for anyone travelling, whether that’s by leaving windows slightly open or parking in shaded areas.

However, please be mindful: leaving your car unattended with windows open can make it an easy target for thieves. Opportunistic car crime happens quickly, and those responsible often know exactly what they’re doing. It takes just seconds for a vehicle, or valuables inside, to be taken.
